We just picked up Greg’s emergency travel documents from the office in Cape Town so we will be heading home as scheduled tomorrow. We have had a fantastic trip. Our accommodations have been gorgeous and luxurious, feeling spoiled and pampered every day. The food was outstanding, the golf was great, the drivers/guides have all been knowledgeable and helpful and very accommodating. I highly recommend the itinerary that you created for us.
Our favourite course was Pezula. So many breath taking views. Here is Greg at Pezula.

I want to thank you for an amazing trip. It was so well organized that it was totally worry free. Accommodations were top notch and so convenient, car rental was smooth and easy, the safari was unforgettable, and most of the golf was amazing. Fancourt and Streenberg were simply incredible. Lucian, our guide, was so accommodating and very knowledgeable. I would recommend your services without hesitation and, if we return to South Africa, would definitely use your services.

Just a note to say thank you for organising our holiday. We had a wonderful time. All the transfers and pick ups were first class, Shadrack our driver the whole time was very professional, drove safely and very punctual, a nice guy. The hotel in Johannesburg was perfect, lovely room, we loved the location, being able to walk into the shopping mall and into Nelson Mandela square to eat. Royal Johannesburg was a good course and a good test of golf.
Pecanwood was a very nice resort course, a good stop on the way to Sun City. Everything about Sun City was great, the Palace Hotel and staff were lovely. Golf and the wave pool were great. The safari was brilliant despite being in a thunderstorm! The guide did amazing to find the animals in the rain and he went way above his time to accommodate us. We had a great time and we will recommend Golf 2 Africa to our friends and hopefully we will be able to arrange another trip with you in the near future.

Our golfing holiday tour organised by you is nearing completion as we are presently on our way of the final leg to hotel in Johannesburg. Everything has gone to plan and has been excellent. Accommodation 5 star, golf courses fabulous, our drivers have been great, safari was a wonderful experience.

Thank you for making our trip to South Africa a resounding success. Accommodations were 1st class, great mix of activities and down time. Fancourt was amazing. Loved every minute! A special ‘shout out’ to Nathan. Not only a great driver but we had informative and engaging conversations with him.

Firstly, may I thank you enormously for all your planning and the administrative work that you put into our very successful golf trip to Cape Town, Knysna and George. Your efficient and meticulous attention to detail with the whole project ensured the trip went very smoothly for our party of 8. Everyone was very impressed and wanted me to pass on their grateful thanks for an excellent trip.
I would like to offer some comments / observations please:
- Nathan, our driver who picked us up at Cape Town and was with us until we left for George was excellent. A good sport!
- Stellenbosch Hotel was good and in an excellent location. The rooms were fine but the second room in each apartment was a little tight and the aircon did not serve them well. The room was ‘cool’ not aircon chill. Food and service good.
- De Zalze Golf. Great course and service in clubhouse excellent. We had issues with allocation of buggies as there were none available when we arrived. Some of us had to walk to the Practice ground to warm up carrying our own bags. The last two buggies came to the tee after our allocated tee time. Thankfully there was no one immediately behind us. Apologies given and I could sense they were a little embarrassed.
- Pearl Valley Golf. Excellent in every way from welcome reception to sorting out buggies and quality service from caddie master, cleaning of clubs and sorting them to take back to van. Excellent lunch and service. So much was liked about this place that the consensus was a two round / night stay would be ideal here in the future.
- Flight to George – no problems. Very efficient.
- Pezula Hotel- a lovely spot and huge rooms.
- Simola Golf – A lovely course and everyone enjoyed it thoroughly. In fact, a couple played it again on Sunday morning with the son of one of the founding members who had worked in Kenya and a member of Karen Country Club.
- Pezula Golf – A great test of golf and we all enjoyed it. After golf we went off piste with the itinerary as our friend invited us out to dinner.
- Journey to Fancourt. We shortened this by just driving direct.
- Fancourt experience. Wonderful and everyone was thoroughly impressed as I thought they would be. Golf excellent. Food and service great.
- Flights back to CT. No problems. Our driver there was a jolly chap.
Quintin, we all thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience and all of us were impressed with how you and your team had put it together. The boys are keen to explore another trip next year late Jan / early February.
