![]() ![]() | George Golf Club, George George is a combination of parklands and woodlands layout with the age of the course being reflected in the well-established trees. The course which has almost been hacked out of a forest and the surrounding natural vegetation together with backdrop of the Outeniqua mountain range makes a beautiful setting. The course receives enough water throughout the year and is always in great condition. The rolling kikuyu fairways are wide and generous. The rough, however, is not so forgiving with thick shrubbery and all kinds of trees. Well placed bunkers on the fairways and around the greens make club selection and accuracy all the more important on this course! The dam provides for a great focal point around the course, especially off the first tee where you must negotiate the dam on the left and trees on the right. |
