The Estate...
Fancourt was first opened in 1987 and is now considered SA's premier golf and leisure resort. The success of the resort has been the careful combination of low-density housing with access to four championship golf courses, as well as a commitment to excellence, both in terms of the numerous facilities available and the pristine condition of the overall estate.

Fancourt has four world class golf courses. All the courses are renowned for their amazing year round condition and meticulous attention to detail. The Montagu and Outeniqua are two world class parkland layouts rated in the top 10 South African courses. Both courses are very similar and present a true test of golf in aesthetically beautiful surroundings. The Links course opened in November 2000 and presents a very special and unique, golfing experience and was ranked 3rd best course in S.A. by Golf Digest in 2005. You really could believe you are playing golf on the Scottish Coast.

Bramble Hill is the fourth course on the estate and is a Parkland course with Links features and offers a good mix of the estate's other three courses. Fancourt was host to the 2003 Presidents Cup. In addition to the courses, The Golf Academy and the comprehensively stocked Pro Shop will ensure that you are at the top of your game.

The Clubhouse with its wide, vaulted passageway and towering windows provide stunning views of gardens and manicured fairways, is host to a number of facilities. Fancourt has five fabulous restaurants offering a variety of excellent dining experiences in truly delightful settings. The restaurants bear testimony to Fancourt's reputation as purveyors of fine cuisine. From La Cantina's authentic Italian fare and the freshly caught seafood dishes of Le Pêcheur to The Morning Glory's health meals, the modern African cuisine of Zansibar and Bramble Lodge's selected dinner menu of locally-sourced produce, Fancourt's cuisine is a gourmet's delight.
