The Estate...
This phenomenal country estate is set in the Western Cape, between Hermanus and Kleinmond and is carefully laid out making full use of the beauty of the Bot River Lagoon and the majestic surrounds. Arabella is a residential estate, including the Arabella Sheraton Hotel & Spa, 18-hole golf course and residential properties.

The golf course is a Peter Matkovich designed course and is consistently ranked in SA's top 10. Golf Digest ranked the course 5TH overall in its 2005 rankings. Matkovich has made excellent use of the natural contours of the land, especially where the course fronts the Bot River Lagoon, a particularly breathtaking part of the layout. The course is a par 72, parkland design, with kikuyu fairways and bentgrass greens. For the past two years, Arabella has played host to the Nelson Mandela Invitational.

The estate has an endless amount of activities and features to keep the most restless of us occupied. The magnificent 5 star hotel overlooks the estate and hosts two restaurants, a lounge and library and two bars. As an antidote to fine wine and dining, there is the award winning AltiraSPA. This is a modern, integrated facility and includes the hydrotherapy tub and hydrothermal capsule are two unique features of the Body & Skincare Centre. You can work out in the state-of-the-art fitness centre or enjoy a swim in the heated pool.
